Way back when both I and the internet were younger, I created my first website with Word documents saved as HTML files. Since then, the world of websites has changed drastically. If you can imagine it, you can probably find it on a website. My offer is for basic websites, but I also partner with companies that can produce ecommerce and other highly functional websites.
Be aware that I will not invoice you unless and until we have a preliminary design and a signed memorandum of understanding (MOU).
I currently charge $50/Hour for my time and in most cases, I can build a basic website similar to this one within 6 hours. I do not charge for preliminary talks and planning. If after initial conversations and planning you wish to move ahead, I will quote a contracted rate for the development. My chargeable time will start when I receive material from you and actually start building the site. At that time, I will require payment of $100.
When I finish and we have a website you’re ready to put on the air (so to speak), I will send you an invoice for the quoted rate (minus the $100) plus the cost of the first year URL registration and hosting service.
The cost of your new URL should cost in the neighborhood of $15 – 20 per year. I can let you know the exact cost when we decide upon the actual URL you’d like to have.
I will host your new website for $5 per month, paid a year in advance. The URL and hosting will not start until you feel the website is ready.
